Abstract

The essay aims to take into account the fables entitled La politica di Esopo frigio, written by Emanuele Tesauro (1646). Rediscovered only in recent years, this corpus shows a particular intersection between the moral tone and the sententious one, with a marked political declination. Both historical and linguistic characteristics will be considered structurally, focusing on the ethical issue of ludere serie.
