Abstract
The aim of this paper is to analyse the famous Italian novel Le avventure di Pinocchio. Storia di un Burattino (1883) in light of new rewritings in the digital era. Taking into account the main classical literary topoi that distinguish Carlo Collodi’s fairy tale, which in turn has become a classic of literature for all ages, the main purpose is to examine how this canonical text has been retold according to the rules of the so-called twitterature.
